The Greek myth tells the tale of Orpheus and Eurydice.Orpheus being the Greek hero who could charm all manor of creatures with his music as well as being the son of the Greek God Apollo; Eurydice who was an oak Nymph. The pair were very much in Love, one day a shepherd noticed Eurydice's outstanding beauty and began to chase the pair. Whilst they were running away Eurydice fell into a snake nest where she was bitten and died. Orpheus managed to charm Cerberus the beast with three heads with his music in the Underworld. When he reached Hades; God of the Underworld he said that he could take Eurydice back by guiding her out but if he looked back he would lose her forever. Just before he left the caves from the Underworld he glanced back to see if Eurydice was still there and of course she faded into the darkness.
