Curious insects

Hello everyone,

This week I was slightly Art Nouveau inspired with my piece, I love nature and I think it often influences my work probably why i'm so in love with artists like Alphonse Mucha who submerge their work with beautiful plants and flowers. As well as this I am absoultely fascinated with old glass/wooden cabinets with insects displayed in them with there Latin names, if you love curiousities such as this I would highly recommend a visit to the Horniman Museum which has all sorts of treasures on display. I chose these insects because of the beautiful reflective colours that beetles give, they almost illuminate themselves.

I like to this of piece as a decorative Art Nouveau inspired display of insects, I used a mixture of fineliner (0.5) and Letraset Promarkers.
