Devonshire folklore

Hey everyone,
There are some pretty strange folklores for Devonshire (in the uk), I chose to illustrate two. The first one is the folklore that the Devil could only hide behind corners, now I have family from Devon so i've been quite a few times and you'll notice that the old cottages have rounded corners. This was because people generally used to believe that it would keep the Devil out so they built there houses that way.
The second is a folklore from Dartmoor in Devon, in the early 20th century there were quite a few car accidents on a stretch of road in Dartmoor. The folklore behind this is that a pair of disembodied hands would appear at the wheel and cause you to crash ( sometimes described as invisable). Personally I think it is probally down the Devonshire country roads, but believe what you will.
